The ingredients in Plump Tape
Three cosmetic actives. All chosen for their proven role in lip hydration and conditioning.
Collagen Peptides
Short-chain collagen fragments that sit at the lip surface to improve texture, smooth fine lines around the mouth, and contribute to a fuller cosmetic appearance over time. The peptides are hydrolysed to a molecular weight that allows effective topical delivery to the lip skin.
Hyaluronic Acid (Sodium Hyaluronate)
A humectant that draws moisture from the environment and from deeper skin layers to the surface. Can hold up to 1,000× its weight in water. Because lip skin contains few oil glands, external moisture-binding agents like HA make a significant cosmetic difference — especially overnight when transepidermal water loss is highest.
Vitamin E (Tocopherol)
A fat-soluble antioxidant and emollient. It neutralises free radicals that can accelerate skin ageing and lip dryness, and acts as a conditioning agent to soften lip skin during the overnight application period.
How they work together
Hyaluronic acid draws moisture in. Collagen peptides improve surface texture and plumpness cosmetically. Vitamin E conditions and protects while you sleep.
The tape format keeps all three locked against your lip skin for 6–8 hours — rather than absorbed into a pillow or evaporated into the air, which is what happens with a conventional overnight balm.
